Current Status
- Project fully underway in NJ & PA; current bridge open with intermittent restrictions
- Construction activities at up to nine different locations on-land and in-water (fall 2018)
- Traffic shifts in effect on PA I-295 WB and NJ I-295 SB; NJ I-295Route 29 and PA I-295 Taylorsville Road interchanges are fully engaged construction zones
- Girder installation for first span of new bridge completed on the NJ side; girder installation now underway on PA side
- First span of new bridge to open in 2019 (toll collection NJ-to-PA direction only)
- Full project completion: mid-to-late 2021
